What is CEREC?

CEREC is a technology for restoring damaged teeth Using 3D scanning and CAD/CAM, restorations such as Crown, Inlay, Onlay, or Veneer can be completed in a single visit to the doctor’s office. The restoration is produced from a high-grade ceramic material that is compatible with the natural tissue in your mouth, or produced from a hybrid composite. THE CEREC PROCESS

  1. The doctor will first evaluate the damaged tooth ; if the tooth is suitable for CEREC restoration, the doctor will prepare the tooth and then use a 3D scanning camera to take a photo of your tooth. Using CEREC’s proprietary software.
